Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what personal data WoofBhao collects through its app and website (“the Platform”), why, and what you can do about it. It applies to pet owners, walkers, and anyone else who creates an account. Reach us at woofbhao@gmail.com.

Directly from you:

• Name, phone number, and email address (required to create an account).
• A structured home address for each address you save, used to schedule and route walks.
• Your dog's profile: name, breed/size, temperament tags (e.g. reactive to other dogs), and a photo — this exists specifically so a Walker can handle your dog safely, not for any other purpose.
• Payment confirmation: for UPI, a screenshot of your payment and the amount you say you paid; for cash, the amount a Walker says they collected. We don't collect your UPI PIN, bank login, or card details — we never see or need them.
• If you're a Walker: a government ID and police verification document, used solely to verify you before you can accept bookings.
• Anything you write in a report to WoofBhao support, or a rating you leave (see Section 5 — ratings are never shown to the person being rated).

Automatically:

• Basic account activity (when you log in, what you book) needed to run the service.
• Your account's serviceable-area pincode, used at signup to confirm we currently operate there.

We do not currently collect live GPS location or continuous location tracking — that feature doesn't exist in the app yet. If it's added later, this Policy will be updated first, and it will require your explicit opt-in.

• To create and run your account, and to connect Owners with Walkers for a booking.
• To verify a Walker's identity and police clearance before they can accept bookings.
• To confirm payment for a walk or subscription plan, and to pay Walkers correctly.
• To respond to a support request or a safety report, and to investigate one if needed.
• To meet a legal obligation, if one applies (e.g. responding to a lawful request from an authority).

• We don't sell your personal data to anyone.
• We don't run third-party ad tracking or ad networks on the Platform today.
• We don't share your data with a third party except where this Policy already describes it (a Walker seeing what they need to complete your walk, or a legal request).

A Walker only ever sees an Owner's address, dog details, and contact info once they're assigned to that specific booking — not before, and not for bookings they aren't on. An Owner sees a Walker's name and verification status, not their ID or police-verification documents, which only WoofBhao's own team can review. Ratings either side leaves are internal-only — used to identify accounts that need review, never shown back to the person being rated or to any other user.

• A drop-off photo from a walk is automatically deleted a set number of days after the walk completes.
• Booking, payment, and dispute records are kept for as long as your account is active, and afterward only as long as needed to resolve an open dispute or meet a legal requirement.
• Deleting your account removes your profile, dogs, addresses, and booking history from active use, as described at the point of deletion in the app.

You can review your dog and address details directly in the app. Your phone number and email are permanent identity fields once set and can't be self-changed — email woofbhaosupport@gmail.com for a genuine identity change, or to request a copy of, a correction to, or deletion of your data.

We use industry-standard technical measures — row-level database access controls, encrypted connections, and no plaintext password storage since login is by one-time code rather than a saved password — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security of information transmitted over the internet.

The Platform isn't intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

We may update this Policy as the Platform's features grow. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
